200323 | Cornwall Council issues advice on dealing with coronavirus waste

Cornwall Council has issued advice for households which have suspected coronavirus infections for disposing of waste.

The authority has issued the new guidance for putting out rubbish to protect people and reduce the risk of spreading infection.

The council has suggested that waste, including tissues and cleaning cloths, should be double bagged and kept aside for three days before they are put outside for collection.

“Kerbside rubbish, recycling and garden waste collections are continuing as normal, and your household waste and recycling centre remains open at the usual times. Please continue to put rubbish and recyclables out for kerbside collection as you would normally.  read more »
