Hayle Pop-Up Innovation Centre Now Open
12 August 2021
On August 5th, Acceleration Through Innovation 2 (ATI2) celebrated opening its ninth Pop-Up Innovation Centre at the Plantation Store in Hayle.
The business support programme was delighted to be joined by the Mayor of Hayle, Steve Benney, who cut the ribbon to officially open the Hayle Pop-up Innovation Centre.
Throughout the day ATI2 staff welcomed a steady flow of bookings from businesses, as well as some impromptu pop-in’s wanting to visit the space and help celebrate the opening.
Paul Rogers, Pop-up Innovation Centre Coordinator at ATI2, was delighted with the turnout and had the following to say:
“It’s been great to welcome so many businesses to the Pop-Up on our first day. The response to the facilities here has been overwhelmingly positive and we look forward to engaging with more of Cornwall’s business community to see how we can help support their aspirations to innovate and grow”.
The centre offers fully-funded business support, including workspace, hot desks, and printing facilities and can also be used for occasional client meetings or to make collaborative connections with other users.
Businesses are also able to make an appointment to speak to IKE accredited Business Innovation Advisors, who are onsite at the centre to offer business advice and guidance on a variety of areas of innovation.
Funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Cornwall Council, the Pop-up Innovation Centre forms part of the business outreach services offered by ATI2, a £3.4M business support programme led by the University of Plymouth.
The Hayle Pop-Up Innovation Centre will remain open until Christmas 2021 for businesses in Hayle and the local area to utilise. If you are interested in using the space contact Paul Rogers, Pop-up Innovation Centre Coordinator on paul.rogers-4@plymouth.ac.uk or call 07525 770552.
