HAYLE PENWITH U3A:

Hayle U3A has the following programme this week.  Today, Thursday April 28, at 10am there is History and Writing; then at 2pm the Social Event "Acupunture and Pain relief" takes place. On Tuesday May 3 at 10am there is Art. All sessions except Writing are held in the Philip Smith annexe to the Hayle Day Care Centre.  The Writing is held in Hayle Library.

CRAFT FAIR:

Susan and Jackie's craft & produce weekly fairs start again this Friday April 29 in Phillack Church Hall, Copperhouse, Hayle (in front of Co-op).  Time 10am to 4pm.  Crafters' stalls full of jams, pickles, jewellery, cards, paintings. soaps, knitwear, woodwork, plants as well as fruit & veg.   The Kitchen is open for refreshments and home-made cakes.  Wheelchair and dog friendly.    Pop in and enjoy.

SALVATION ARMY:

The hall is closed for major repairs. So the Salvation Army have had to move out. Their Sunday services will be held at the Hayle day centre at 11am every Sunday. All children's groups will be held at St Elwyn's church hall:

Rocks on Tuesdays from 6pm to 7:15pm

Baby and toddler group on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am to 12noon

Lazer on Fridays from 3:45pm to 5pm

ST ELWYN'S CHURCH:

On Sunday May 1, the 6th Sunday of Easter, Sung Eucharist will be celebrated by Father Malcolm Uren at 9.30 am. On Wednesday May 4, Said Eucharist will be celebrated by the Rev Sharon Clifton at 10 am.

ST.JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, HAYLE:

St Joseph's Church in Hayle is part of the Roman Catholic Parish of the Holy Family. At the 6.30pm Mass on Saturday April 23 the readings were from Acts - Apocalypse and gospel by John.

There will be Mass on Friday at 10:30am.

Everyone is asked to say the rosary daily for vocations.

Royal Cornwall Show Age UK and Isles of Scilly running trip for people aged 65 and over.  Further details available.
