Angarrack is proud to announce that after the successful fundraising Angarrack now has a defibrillator available 24/7 for public access. It's on the wall outside the Angarrack Inn on the Steamers Hill side of the pub.

You don't need special training to use it as the machine and 999 ambulance service will talk you through what to do (though training will help make you more familar with the machine and CPR compressions)

Defibrillators are very easy to use. Although they don’t all look the same, they all function in broadly the same way. The machine gives clear spoken instructions. You don't need training to use one.

Watch this short film and learn how a defibrillator works.
