150th Anniversary Celebration
Angarrack Methodist Chapel will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2024. To recognise this unique event, an afternoon get together is being organised for Saturday 30th March in the community centre.
The event will commence at 1400, with cream tea, pasties and teas and coffees available to those attending. There will be no charge, however guests are more than welcome to contribute to the event prior to, or on the day.
It is hoped to have a display of old photographs of the chapel, and events held in it over the 150-year history. If you have anything that might be of interest, please contact Shirley Thomas details below.
The event is open to anyone who has attended the church or Sunday school and to past or present residents of the village of Angarrack. Please if you know people who this may be of interest to, let them know.
On Sunday 31st March a service will be held in the Chapel commencing at 1200 with the preacher being Rev Ray Borrett. There will also be refreshments following the Sunday service.
It would be useful to know numbers to assist with catering so please contact: -

- Volunteer for a couple of hours on a Saturday morning. We will be out every Saturday, weather permitting, from the 16th September until 26th November.
Christmas Flower Arranging demonstration 2023
Two sessions 2pm to 4 pm at Angarrack Community Centre on Friday 24 November and Friday 1 December 2023.
The first afternoon will be an informal demonstration and the second a workshop.
All welcome - £3 per session.

Angarrack Christmas Lights will be meeting every Saturday morning from this weekend, 16th September, to move and put up the lights. If you can help please be at the crossroads at 9 am.

Cornwall Library Members can access a wealth of online reading - eBooks, Audiobooks, newspapers and magazines, comics and eGraphic novels:
The mobile library provides a library service to rural areas in Cornwall where there is no static library or micro library. The mobile library holds a selection of books on many subjects including:
- novels
- large print books
- books for children
- talking books
Library customers can borrow other materials on request, such as:
- DVDs
- music CDs
- music scores
Customers can request books for free from the online library catalogue. There is a small charge for requests placed by a Library Assistant. We update the stock regularly.
