Consultation Summary
Cormac Ltd on behalf of Cornwall Council is consulting on changes to waiting restrictions on various streets in Hayle, Connor Downs, Lelant and Reawla (Wall). In addition, a 30mph speed limit in Hayle will be formalised. Please see the additional documents for further details of the proposed locations and extents.
Background:
These changes have been nominated by town/parish councils and local members throughout the Hayle and St Ives Community Network area.Scheme Objectives
The effect of the Orders, which have been designed to improve visibility and eliminate obstruction, is to prohibit and control parking as appropriate along the affected lengths of road.
It is anticipated that the use of these Orders will:
a) avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the liklihood of any such dager arising.
b) facilitate the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians) as deemed appropriate.
c) improve visibility and eliminate obstruction.Audience or target group:
