Staff at a Bodmin care home were left shocked after vandals entered the property and broke two stone lions that have been on the site for years.The damage was noticed in the early hours of Sunday (May 21) when employees arrived at St Petroc's Care Home for their early shift. A Liskeard man has been sent to prison for a series of sexual offences over a nine-year period. The 19-year sentence of Adrian Richard Jewell, of Joan Moffat Close, at Exeter Crown Court, for five rapes, two sexual assaults and voyeurism, has been welcomed by Devon and Cornwall Police detectives.
